What kind of modem is it? If it's a USB modem it should be pretty much plug and play. At least it is with my 3 mobile broadband; plug it in, answer a few questions about the account, and you're online. Is it Telstra Bigpond, Telstra mobile broadbanðor telstra prepaid wireless broadband and what type of modem is it try to get th make and model not just the telstra marketing it should be written on the device. Express card, usb or modem? My experience with modem was to connect it up, enter WPA as requested and use it.
