Ever since I had some problems when downloading account data in (CSV) then the site logged me out. Apart from this, no problems. I excluded www.anz.com from pop up blocker, no script, etc. cheers seb -- ubuntu-au mailing list ubuntu-au@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-au

Which Java plugins (installed by the browser, by APT/Synaptic/Add-Remove, and what versions?) are you using? (To find out, fire up Firefox and type "about:plugins" into the location bar). You can also check to see if you have the Sun JRE installed by typing "dpkg -l | grep jre" at the command line. It might be worth your time to delete the plugins in either your ~/.mozilla/firefox//plugins or /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directories and reinstall them. If you had a working system up until a week ago, did you do some system updates at that point? And if you did, have you tried doing a system-wide package upgrade since then? -Dan -- ubuntu-au mailing list ubuntu-au@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-au

Re: Firefox crash when accessing ANZ internet banking
I've been using ANZ's website plus Linux/Firefox for 5+ years now with no problems. I've never had any of the issues mentioned thus far. I do however clean out my cookies on a regular basis. -Dan Stephen Boyd wrote: > I can't login either. I can't login either. I get a small window with no content plus the start of the old window with your last login details etc. I guess we will have to complain loudly. Fortunately LCA provides a forum for this. Stephen. Unsure whether it was the cookie or the way I enetered the site I then tried from the main page again and again firefox crashed. Re: Firefox crash when accessing ANZ internet banking
I can login OK, but Im using Feisty and I havent updated anything, including firefox, in a fair while. I have noticed that I cant use "Bpay view" on the anz website. It gives the bad ol' incompatible browser excuse. Commonwealth works fine though. You could change banks. I am pretty sure > this was working fine on my Gutsy laptop before the weekend! Works fine here - running Gutsy with some extensions. I have found in the past that firebug can cause ANZ's internet banking not to work, so I disable it when using their site. Have you tried clearing all *.anz.* cookies and your browser cache? Cheers Dave PS - I always go straight to https://www.anz.com/inetbank/bankmain.asp to login to ANZ's internet banking. -- ubuntu-au mailing list ubuntu-au@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-au
