Hi all. Last week when 9.04 was released I updated my Asus Eee PC 701sd with an image from Telstra's site. The update went fine and everything functions as it should, except the Ubuntu Netbook Launcher.
I've had to revert to the standard Ubuntu desktop and give up on the UNL as it was running exceptionally slow. For example, my mouse movements would be extremely jerky: running the mouse from the top to bottom of the menu item list on the left would take around three seconds. Everything else seems fine. My netbook's got a gig of RAM and a non-overclocked 900Mhz processor. The CPU and RAM stats under sys monitor are all pretty low, actually lower than they were under Hardy. I can't figure out why the UNL is running so poorly. Any ideas? Any one else had similar problems?
