[Bug 72146] Re: request: flash-plugin-nonfree

2006-11-18 Thread Lionel Le Folgoc
Builds fine in an up-to-date edgy pbuilder, but does not install:

$ sudo dpkg -i flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.21.55.2ubuntu1~edgy0.1_i386.deb
(Reading database ... 141599 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace flashplugin-nonfree 7.0.68~ubuntu3 (using
flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.21.55.2ubuntu1~edgy0.1_i386.deb) ...
Downloading... done.
Unpacking replacement flashplugin-nonfree ...
Setting up flashplugin-nonfree (9.0.21.55.2ubuntu1~edgy0.1) ...
already exists: /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so
dpkg: error processing flashplugin-nonfree (--install):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 flashplugin-nonfree

It is strange, as 7.0.68~ubuntu3 prerm script executes update-
flashplugin -u command, which (theorically) removes this symlink.

2006-11-18 Thread Pedro Alejandro López-Valencia
While I agree that in a perfect world this should go through an SRU and
be uploaded to universe-updates or such; this was initially a backport
request. (Forgot to include the backports team in the discussion when
creating the bug, sorry).

[Bug 72103] Re: Backport to dapper: libtorrent

2006-11-18 Thread Misery
Ooohh I'm so stupid. ;-)
libtorrent in debian isn't the same libtorrent in sourceforge.
Really confusing...

0.10.4 is the current version for debian.
http://libtorrent.rakshasa.no/

0.11 is the other one
http://www.rasterbar.com/products/libtorrent/index.html

The bad thing for me. I need the other one for btg. :-(

[Bug 72146] Re: request: flash-plugin-nonfree

2006-11-18 Thread John Dong
Also approved for Dapper Backports. In order for the package to install
(like Sun Java stuff also), the DEBIAN_FRONTEND (debconf frontend) needs
to be an interactive one, which I am not sure is default or not for
Update Manager.

Daniel Chen said it was ok to do it anyway, and I've already made
arrangements thru UWN to make an announcement along with the backports
notification.

That should build kdesvn with my changes :)

And cmake has been scheduled for backporting to Dapper already... let's
see what happens when the dust settles :)

Brasero from Edgy has already basically been backported to Dapper; it
was the new upstream 0.5.x versions that I was interested in, which did
not backport to Dapper.
