[Bug 274535] [NEW] ACPI Problem with Atom Based Board
Public bug reported: Board D945GCLF OS 8.04 with updates Kernel 2.6.24-19-41 (in updates), also tried 2.6.24.-21 in proposed Problem: ACPI - board won't power off from a shutdown (CLI or GNOME). Screen goes black but machine still draws full idle power (I measured it with a meter repeatedly to make sure). Note: Many other problems have been noted with this board. As John pointed out, the 0.9.x series won't build on Hardy due to missing dependencies. If you are referring to the 0.8.6.* security fix series, this is already in progress for ubuntu-security. If you are referring to the 0.9.x releases, I am not sure if this will be possible.
