[Bug 307812] Re: xfdesktop4 left out of xfce backports - causes partial upgrade warning

2008-12-15 Thread Christopher Peplin
I can confirm the latest update just somewhat broke my XFCE desktop -
I'm missing some core xfdesktop4-* packages, probably due to this:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  xfdesktop4: Depends: xfdesktop4-data (= 4.4.2-7ubuntu3) but
4.4.3-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

Reverting to new status as the backport request requires new test
packages to be built (i.e. with Prevu or pbuilder). Please confirm only
if a test build for 1.6.1-1 has succeeded.

[Bug 308140] [NEW] Possible replace gnome-orca 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 release with 2.24.2 version?

2008-12-15 Thread Attila Hammer
Public bug reported:

The new version will be released in Jaunty. You can request a backport if you
want the new version (
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#How%20to%20request%20new%20packages
).
Anyway, I've just uploaded the new Jaunty's version to my ppa, so that you can
install it (
https://launchpad.net/~fabricesp/+archive/+index#)"

I only would like see 2.24.2 or future 2.24.3 maintained version with
update in Ubuntu Intrepid, not an actual development version.

If possible doing this, I would like help.
