[Bug 298084] Re: Please backport KDENLive 0.7
Backports requests shouldn't be against the Ubuntu package, just backports. Watch Bug #269191 for when it's in Jaunty. ** Changed in: kdenlive (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- Please backport KDENLive 0.7 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298084 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Intrepid Ibex Backports. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
Re: Security Policy of backported software
Strictly speaking, backports officially does not guarantee any period or type of support, which is why they are worded as "unofficial updates" in software sources manager. in reality, the backporters do address security issues in the backports repo on a best-effort basis and take care not to backport things that tend to lead to security maintenance issues.
