[Bug 310061] Re: Please backport flashplugin-nonfree to Intrepid (at least for amd64)
The Hardy backport was attempting to upgrade from flash 9 to 10 beta. This Intrepid backport would be a transition from the 32-bit to 64-bit alpha version of flash 10 for 64-bit systems. The benefit is that nspluginwrapper is no longer needed, which would eliminate the related bugs. While I think the risk of regressions is a lot lower than the Hardy backport situation, I agree that testing still needs to be done. As for flashplugin-nonfree 10.0.15.3ubuntu1 on Ubuntu Jaunty, I have not experienced any problems so far, which is in great contrast to the previous nspluginwrapper situation. -- Please backport flashplugin-nonfree to Intrepid (at least for amd64) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310061 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Intrepid Ibex Backports. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports

Magnes, since the 0.8.1.6 drivers from linuxwacom works for you, but not 0.8.1.4 or 0.8.1.6 from Ubuntu, could you check if you also have the same problem in Jaunty (Ubuntu 9.04) if you have enough space for a spare partition (don't upgrade, Jaunty will still a bit unstable)? That way you can help so Jaunty works for you when it's released.
