[Bug 404590] [NEW] Please backport gramps

2009-07-25 Thread John Veness
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 9.04 has Gramps version 3.0.4-1. This contains a bug for date entry
which is fairly serious for a genealogy program! There is potential for data
loss without awareness and careful use. Days greater than 21 cannot be entered
using the date picker and may be lost if date entry is selected again.
Upstream bug report is available at
http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=2982
Version 3.1.2-1, which I'm told fixes the bug, is available for karmic.

[Bug 99965] Re: [needs-packaging] celtx - all-in-one video and media pre-production suite

2009-07-25 Thread Colin Dean
According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KarmicReleaseSchedule, Feature
Freeze is 27 August.

I'll make every effort to get the package made this week.

IIRC, when I first tried, I couldn't get it to compile (it's been ~two
years since I tried before running into life). I may end up packaging
the binaries just to have a package, then figure out the source packages
later.

It's on my TODO list by 5 pm on Friday.
