[Bug 403471] Re: Please backport whole xfce 4.6.1 to Jaunty

2009-08-19 Thread Bremm
Update:

I tried to do all by myself, and successfully backported these packages:

glade-xfce_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfce4menu-0.1-0_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfce4menu-0.1-dbg_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfce4menu-0.1-dev_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfce4util4_4.6.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
libxfce4util4-dbg_4.6.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
libxfce4util-dev_4.6.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
libxfcegui4-4_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfcegui4-4-dbg_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfcegui4-dev_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfconf-0-2_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfconf-0-2-dbg_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxfconf-0-dev_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
libxklavier15_4.0-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb
libxklavier-dev_4.0-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb
quilt_0.46-7_all.deb (got it from karmic repo) <
xfce4_4.6.1.1_all.deb
xfce4-appfinder_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
xfce4-artwork_0.1-2_all.deb
xfce4-panel_4.6.1-3ubuntu1_amd64.deb
xfce4-panel-dbg_4.6.1-3ubuntu1_amd64.deb
xfce4-panel-dev_4.6.1-3ubuntu1_amd64.deb
xfce4-session_4.6.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
xfce4-settings_4.6.1-2ubuntu3_amd64.deb
xfce4-taskmanager_0.4.1-1_amd64.deb
xfce4-terminal_0.4.0-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
xfce4-theme-brushedchrome_0.20050105-1_all.deb
xfce4-utils_4.6.1-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb
xfconf_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
xfprint4_4.6.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb
xfwm4_4.6.1-1_amd64.deb
xfwm4-themes_4.6.0-2_all.deb

But some components were impossible to backport (probably due to GTK+
dependencies):

thunar
xfce4-battery-plugin
xfce4-cddrive-plugin
xfce4-clipman-plugin
xfce4-cpu-freq-plugin
xfce4-cpugraph-plugin
xfce4-datetime-plugin
xfce4-dict-plugin
xfce4-diskperf-plugin
xfce4-fsguard-plugin
xfce4-genmon-plugin
xfce4-governor-plugin
xfce4-mailwatch-plugin
xfce4-messenger-plugin
xfce4-mixer
xfce4-mount-plugin
xfce4-netload-plugin
xfce4-notes-plugin
xfce4-notifyd-plugin
xfce4-places-plugin
xfce4-power-manager
xfce4-quicklauncher-plugin
xfce4-screenshooter-plugin
xfce4-sensors-plugin
xfce4-smartbookmark-plugin
xfce4-systemload-plugin
xfce4-timer-plugin
xfce4-volstatus-icon
xfce4-weather-plugin
xfce4-xkb-plugin

After some Google "workout", I've found this PPA:

https://launchpad.net/~jerome-guelfucci/+archive/ppa

Hope this information will help anyone seeking for a easier solution.

[Bug 271235] Re: [needs-packaging] OpenMRS - medical record system for developing countries

2009-08-19 Thread Ben
There is an openmrs deb file available here:
http://openmrs.org/wiki/Prereleases#OpenMRS_1.5.0_RC2

The source for the deb is here: http://dev.openmrs.org/browser/openmrs-
contrib/install/packagemanagers/deb

Can we get that included in an ubuntu repository somewhere? Or should
we wait until the final release of openmrs? It would be neet to have it
in before Karmic, but OpenMRS 1.5 GA probably won't be out by then. Is
it easier/quicker to update the repo to the GA if the RC is in there
already?

** Description changed:

  URL:
  http://openmrs.org/wiki/OpenMRS
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenMRS

  Description:
OpenMRS is an open source medical record system which is focused on
developing countries. It is web based, written in Java, and is under active
development. Most of the core developers are from the Regenstrief Institute and
Partners in Health.

  OpenMRS® is a community-developed, open-source, enterprise electronic
medical record system framework. We've come together to specifically
respond to those actively building and managing health systems in the
  developing world,

OpenMRS is a free, open-source program.
We currently have a commonly used plugin, which utilizes Microsoft's InfoPath
program for data entry (and needless to say requires a license); otherwise, all
of the resources needed are open source and freely available.
