[Bug 878704] Re: libgdata version 0.9.1 vs. 0.10.x in Ubuntu Oneiric
With the backported libgdata13 (0.10.1-1) preinstalled, all of the packages mentioned above and their dependencies installed fine in an up- to-date Oneiric VirtualBox image. I do not have a native installation to test with. Results --- totem: Searching for YouTube videos works (this uses libgdata, if I'm informed correctly), while retrieving the video thumbnails and video playback fail with the same symptoms Robert Dumitrescu (rc-dumitrescu) reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/858516 for totem in VirtualBox. eog-plugins: Picasa photo upload works evolution/e-d-s: Access to Google calendar (read/write) works, though not tested in-depth Looking good, setting bug to "confirmed", as proposed. ** Changed in: libgdata (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Oneiric Backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/878704 Title: libgdata version 0.9.1 vs. 0.10.x in Ubuntu Oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oneiric-backports/+bug/878704/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
[Bug 877074] Re: Please backport workrave 1.9.4-2 to oneiric
In my Oneiric 64 (upgraded from natty), I also lost workrave - and I have a sore arm as a result of that :-( Anyway, nothing in the official repo's, but fortunately Mica's PPA works for me. Thumbs up! Comes back the question that gianni and daniele also asked: why was it not included in oneiric in the first place? I consider that a serious regression! Besides, I want to stress that, for me, I use workrave because I *need* it. And I don't notice if the breaks aren't there - that's part of the reason I need it! I suspect this may be true for most users of workrave (or similar packages). Seriously, it really got me my sore arm back - which will take several weeks to fix (again). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Oneiric Backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877074 Title: Please backport workrave 1.9.4-2 to oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oneiric-backports/+bug/877074/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
