[Bug 2009944] Re: [BPO] libreoffice 7.4.6 for bionic, focal and jammy
@mantas: The use of internal hartfbuzz implies/requires internal graphite. [Bug 2009944] Re: [BPO] libreoffice 7.4.6 for bionic, focal and jammy
@ricotz, thanks, but I still don't understand why you use external graphite in Kinetic and Lunar and internal in Jammy and Bionic, when the same graphite2 1.3.14-1build2 released at 2022-03-28 is in Lunar, Kinetic and Jammy, also in Bionic is almost the same - 1.3.13-11build1 version, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/graphite2 > ricotz) wrote: @mantas: Libreoffice provides conditional paths to work with older harfbuzz versions. [Bug 2009944] Re: [BPO] libreoffice 7.4.6 for bionic, focal and jammy
@mantas: Libreoffice provides conditional paths to work with older harfbuzz versions. Unfortunately this can lead to bugs like [1] [2]. While bionic and focal doesn't provide the required versions after all, I decided to have a consistent base for all backports. @ricotz , I don't understand why you use internal graphite and harfbuzz in jammy-backports, while the same graphite2 and harfbuzz version is in Kinetic and Jammy? See https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/graphite2 https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/harfbuzz libreoffice (1:7.4.6-0ubuntu0.22.10.1~bpo22.04.1) jammy-backports; urgency=medium * Backport from kinetic (LP: #2009944) * Use internal graphite and harfbuzz to meat upstream requirements -- Rico Tzschichholz Thu, 09 Mar 2023 14:07:05 +0100 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2009944 Title: [BPO] libreoffice 7.4.6 for bionic, focal and jammy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/2009944/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
