[Bug 120415] Re: OpenOffice.org 2.2.1

2007-07-12 Thread Michel D'HOOGE
According to changelog
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/gutsy/+source/openoffice.org/+changelog),
it seems that a security issue (CVE-2007-0244) has only be corrected in
2.2.0. Has it been silently corrected in 2.2.1?

** CVE added: http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi-
bin/cvename.cgi?name=2007-0244

** Changed in: feisty-backports (upstream)
   Status: New = Incomplete

[Bug 116658] Re: Please backport pbuilder 0.166ubuntu1 from Gutsy

2007-07-12 Thread Michel D'HOOGE
I tried to prevu it but it failed:
- there are some cat: write error: Broken pipe
- prevu/pbuilder installs pbuilder in the chroot
- it wants rootstrap that isn't available

   Status: New = Invalid

[Bug 120292] Re: please backport qemu 0.9.0

2007-07-11 Thread Michel D'HOOGE
The source versions I used:

- kqemu-common_1.3.0~pre11-5
- qemu_0.9.0-2ubuntu1
- qemuctl_0.2-2
- qemu-launcher_1.7.4-1
- vde2_2.1.6+r154-1

And I think this BR should include *all* these packages, since they are
tightly linked and worked perfectly together.

[Bug 120292] Re: please backport qemu 0.9.0

2007-07-10 Thread Michel D'HOOGE
I also BP with success qemuctl and qemu-launcher. However qemuctl
doesn't know about the qcow2 format and its VM saving capability. But
from a strict BP point of view, both are OK.

2007-07-04 Thread Michel D'HOOGE
OK. So I used prevu on source packages vd2, qemu kqemu. Everything
compiled correctly and I got the following results:

kqemu-common_1.3.0~pre11-5~7.04prevu1_all.deb
kqemu-source_1.3.0~pre11-5~7.04prevu1_all.deb
libvdeplug2_2.1.6+r154-1~7.04prevu1_i386.deb
libvdeplug2-dev_2.1.6+r154-1~7.04prevu1_i386.deb
qemu_0.9.0-2ubuntu1~7.04prevu1_i386.deb
vde_2.1.6+r154-1~7.04prevu1_all.deb
vde2_2.1.6+r154-1~7.04prevu1_i386.deb
vde2-cryptcab_2.1.6+r154-1~7.04prevu1_i386.deb

I'm starting to use it.
