[Bug 948117] Re: Please backport egenix-mx-base 3.2.1-1 from Precise to Oneiric
Broder: This was fixed in an upstream revision of the program, and I am not able to narrow down what upstream changes were made to the program. The only solution I would see at this time, is to upload the package with the latest versioning numbers. That latest version exists in Precise and in Debian Sid, but not in Oneiric. I'd have to diff the entire source, and from what I can tell, there were several other changes to the upstream between the filing of the referenced bug, and the version in Precise. As I understand the system, this is not usually done. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Oneiric Backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/948117 Title: Please backport egenix-mx-base 3.2.1-1 from Precise to Oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oneiric-backports/+bug/948117/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports

[Bug 914996] Re: Please backport ZNC 0.202-2 from Precise to Natty
Scott, please refer to the prior backport of ZNC 0.202-1 which I requested some time ago, in Bug #887758, and historical build logs (which may or may not still exist) of my backporting attempts within PPAs. Evan Broder is aware of these required changes, he and I communicated via #ubuntu-motu when i tried to backport the package from Precise after the initial syncs from sid that were done automatically. The debian/control file from Debian has the following build deps, which conflict with each other in Ubuntu: `swig` `swig2.0`. In Ubuntu, those two conflict, preventing builds from working. Broder was one of those who confirmed the required changes, and uploaded the backports to oneiric-backports and natty-backports. As per your request for debdiff(s)... I do not have any here in front of me, nor do I have the capability to generate them at this time due to a cascade systems corruption which has effectively disabled my packaging capabilities. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for natty-backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/914996 Title: Please backport ZNC 0.202-2 from Precise to Natty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/natty-backports/+bug/914996/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
