[Bug 117815] Re: Backport rtorrent 0.7.4-2 from Gutsy

2007-06-18 Thread Yaohan Chen
However on Ubuntu Feisty, libtorrent can build with libcurl3-openssl-dev
(as well as the rest of the dependencies listed on
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=371275). Other posts in the
thread confirm that it works on Edgy, although I have only built it on
Feisty and haven't installed yet.

[Bug 117815] Re: Backport rtorrent 0.7.4-2 from Gutsy

2007-06-18 Thread Yaohan Chen
Does this mean it's still possible to backport libtorrent, and if that's
done, rtorrent can be backported? Should another bug be opened for that?

Note: according to this post:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=371275

libtorrent 0.11.1 and rtorrent 0.7.4 can be installed from source and
used on Ubuntu Edgy, without dependencies on libraries not present on
Ubuntu Edgy. It's probably the case on Ubuntu Feisty too.
