Hmm, not sure what is causing this, but since it occurs with kde but not gnome, it sounds like it's an issue somewhere in kde. By chance do you have any flash running in the firefox windows when this occurs? If so, then it may be related to bug 14911. In any case, if you have encountered this after upgrading to feisty from a prior version, can you please re-run the xorg configuration tool, to see if it is simply some leftover from your prior xorg.conf? However, I am only seeing the errors when I am using KDE. I am getting the same X errors in my .xsession-errors file when I move windows around.
