We do build them from source on the target release tool chain.

This should be a stable update, not a backport.

I've been testing solfege_3.10.3-1 from Intrepid, which fixes documented bug # 
206093. I haven't run into any issues. It installs and runs just fine.
I was wondering if this is the proper way to test this package? When you guys 
backport a package do you build it again from source or do you just use the 
newer package already built?
