avogadro 1.0.3-1ubuntu1 is now in oneiric, so we can consider backporting it. Before we can do so, we need to make sure we can expect the backport to work, so I've uploaded a test build to my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~broder/+archive/backports-tests). Please verify that the build completes successfully, then download and install the package on a natty machine/chroot and make sure it runs. 1.0.3 is not in Ubuntu yet. I must be misunderstanding the process. They are, but they need to be in the development release of Ubuntu so we have somewhere to backport from.
