Hi
First extract the file (Right click and extract), den open terminal and use the 
following command

sudo dpkg install /full/path/of_the_files/*.deb

after that vlc is ready to use.

এ সমস্যা এড়াতে আপনার নিজের পিসিতে যে কোন আপডেট / সফটওয়্যার ইনস্টল করার পর সব
প্যাকেজের ব্যাকআপ নিয়ে রাখুন আপনার সিস্টেমে অন্য যে কোন ড্রাইভের একটা
ফোল্ডারে, /var/cache/apt/archives থেকে কপি করে এনে। প্রতিবার কপি করে নিয়ে
আসার পর পর খেয়াল করে টার্মিনালে

sudo apt-get clean

কমান্ড টা চালিয়ে দেবেন। এতে করে আপনার কালেকশানের কোন প্যাকেজ
ব্যাকডেটেড/ডুপ্লিকেট থাকার সম্ভাবনা থাকবে না। এরপর প্রয়োজন মতো যে কাউকেই ওই
ব্যাকআপ রাখার ফোল্ডারটা ধরিয়ে দিন আপনার পিসিতে ইনস্টল করা সফটের একটা লিস্ট
সহ (একটা টেক্সট ফাইলে ক্রমানুসারে লিখে রাখতে পারেন আর সেটা প্রতিবার নতুন
সফটওয়্যার ইন্সটল/আপডেট করার পরে আপডেট করে নেবেন ব্যস)।

আপনার বন্ধুকে এটা ব্যবহার করে কাজ করাতে হলে পেছন থেকে সামনে যেতে হবে
প্রসেসগুলোয়। যেমন আপনি /var/cache/apt/archives থেকে কপি করে এনেছিলেন আর
আপনার বন্ধুকে আপনার দেয়া ফোল্ডার থেকে ঠিক ওখানেই প্যাকেজগুলো কপি করে রাখতে
হবে। এরপর আপনার পছন্দের সফটওয়্যারের প্যাকেজটার উপরে মাউসের ডবল ক্লিক করেই
ইনস্টল করে নিতে পারেন অথবা প্যাকেজ ম্যানেজার থেকেও ইনস্টল করতে পারেন।

[যদিও এটা সবচাইতে জটিল এবং হাতুড়ে পদ্ধতি। কিন্তু একেবারেই নিরাপদ পদ্ধতি।
আমার কাজের ক্ষেত্রে এ পদ্ধতি এখনো চরম কার্যকর। :)]

Hello everyone!

I just wrote a GUI app for downloading Youtube videos.
To use it, you shall need the "python-qt4" package. Install it using this
command: sudo apt-get install python-qt4

Download the app from: https://github.com/masnun/pytubedownloader

After downloading, extract the archive. Make the main.py file executable
(Right click on it and go to Permission tab)

Double click on the main.py file to run the app. In the box "Video URL",
enter the full URL of a youtube video. Then click "Fetch Videos". It shall
populate the select box with available formats. Select a format you like,
you should see the url in the text box below.

Clicking "Download" button shall launch the download url with your default
browser (and start downloading it).
You can alternatively copy the download url by clicking "Copy URL" button.
It shall copy the download url to your clipboard.

If you find any bugs, please let me know, I shall try to fix it :)

তার আগে একটা তথ্য দেই।
Luma 002 (Puppy linux) লাইভ সিডি দিয়ে রান করিয়ে Gparted 0.6.2 দিয়ে
দেখা গেল যে সবকিছু স্বাভাবিক আছে। কোন অতিরিক্ত Unallocated পার্টিশন
নেই। উল্লেখ্য যে উবুন্টু ১০.০৪ এর Gparted এর ভার্সন 0.5.1
এই তথ্যটি কি কোন কাজে লাগবে?

আপনার দেখা পেয়ে ভাল লাগছে। ফাইল এলোকেশন টেবিল মুছবো কিভাবে। পার্টিশন
মোছার পর তো শুধুমাত্র হার্ডডিস্কটাকেই দেখায়।
