নানা মতের মানুষ থাকবেই, সবখানেই এরকম থাকে। আমাদের নিজের মতের সাথে এক মত না
হলেই কাউকে সরিয়ে দেওয়া ঠিক নয়।
কাউকে উপযুক্ত কারণে ব্যান করার অধিকার এডমিনের আছে। কিন্তু রিং দা-কে কি
আসলেই ব্যান করা হয়েছে? না কি টেকনিক্যাল প্রব্লেমে মেইল আটকে গেছে? ব্যান করা
হলে কি তার উপযুক্ত কারণ?
সম্মানিত এডমিনগন একটু ব্যাখ্যা দিলে কমিউনিটির বাকিরা স্বচ্ছ ধারণা পেতেন।
নিজেরাও ব্যান হয়ার আগেই সাবধান হতেন।

I used open ofice and now using libra. I write official documents in
my libra then save as .doc format from file menu. Then a message
comes. I click keep current setting. Then i send the files to others
janala users. They can open it. No problems yet.

আমার লেক্সমার্ক Z615 মডেলের প্রিন্টার আছে, কিন্তু তা লিনাক্স মিন্ট ৯ এ
সাপোর্ট করে না।
নেট ঘেটে দু'একটা উপায় বের করলেও বাস্তবে কাজে লাগাতে পারিনি (হয়ত আমার কোনও
ভুলের জন্য হতে পারে)
যাই হোক, আপনাদের মধ্যে কেউ নিজে পরীক্ষা করে সফল হয়ে থাকলে কিভাবে কি করব এ
নিয়ে একটা লেখার সন্ধান দিলে উপক্রিত হব।

Hi all,

I use Gp's 1Gb net connection. Once I wanted to work on database. OS gives
word, spreed sheet and presenter by default in open office. So I searched
net and found obase. But when I wanted to download it i found that it is a
large file, my slow net connection and limited internet package is not
giving me hope to complete download. So i canceled. At that time I thought
about off line ripository. It is a demand of time in Bangladesh. (I solved
my database use related problem by cross-over)

I have a suggestion you may consider:

No need to create full 33 Gb ripository. The different people needs
different. Lets make some catagories:

1. One DVD containing All important Office related software. (Including Avro
for Linux to write bangla)
2. One DVD containing All important Medical and statistical software. (As I
am a doctor i feel it)
3. One DVD containing All important Engineering and technological
software.(Including multimedia)
4. One DVD containing 3D Games for linux. (Optional)

Now about distribution:

1. All these DVDs along with latest Ubuntu/Mint should be available in a
specific shop:
  1) One in IDB
  2) One in Multiplan center
  3) One in Basundhara shoping center.
  4) One in each divitional cities.

2. In all bangla forum and personal websites, there should be a sticky post
regarding availability of these DVDs, the name and address of the shops.

3. The price of each DVD should be printed in the back side. The price
should cover manufacturing cost, travel cost, distribution cost to these
shops and other cost if any. Price should be minimum so that no one can
blame about profit to the hard workers behind this project.

4. There should be specific contact person(s), if any one wants any DVD(s),
he will send {DVD cost + Currier/postal cost} so that contact person can
send the DVD(s).



I think, If this is possible, it will be a great achievement to spread Linux
in our country.

I had to wait a long time to know that user name is "custom" to run live.
I have installed Mint and it is running nicely, The only problem was
internet connection with bluetooth. With other's help, I installed bluemen
and the problem was solved. But it would be great if bluemen would be
included in customized DVDs.

I have not try to installed ubuntu yet. But it is not installable!!!:-(.
I am thinking about these newbies who just bought only ubuntu DVD!
After-all it could be mentioned at the time of distributing.
My personal thinking was I would get the repository DVD and official vertion
of Latest Ubuntu and Mint. Was not it sufficient?

I would like to thank  Ring vai for his tremendous efforts. But if these
mistakes are correctable, please try it.

 আমি অশেষ ধন্যবাদ দিচ্ছি তারেক ভাই, মেহেদী ভাই, লেলিন ভাই এবং রিং দা কে
তাদের দ্রুত সহাতার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়ে আমাকে সাহায্য করার জন্য. আমি এখন ব্লুতূথ
বেবহার করেই লিখছি.
আমি নিজে তার বেবহার করেই নেট connection করে থাকি, তাই আমার linax use করতে
কোনো অসুবিধা হয় না. কিন্তু আজ অন্য এক বাসায় মিন্ট সেট আপ  করে বিপদে
পরেছিলাম. কারণ সে ব্লু টুথ বেবহার করে, তার কেবল নেই. তাই তাকে যদি নেট
connectd করে না দিতে পারি, তবে সে হয়ত মিন্ট বেবহার করবে না. তাই শেষ মেষ অন্য
আরেকজন থেকে ডাটা কেবল যোগার করে bluemen ইনস্টল করলাম. এবং হয়েগেল !!
আমদের positive সমালোচনা  করা উচিত. রিং দা কি দেন নাই তা না বলে অনেক কিছু
দিয়েছেন, পরবর্তিতে এটা ওটা দিলে আরো ভালো হতঅভাবে বলা উচিত বলে আমি মনে
করি.

[Ubuntu-BD] Help needed to blutooth net connection

Thanx!
It worked.
I have just installed mint 9. All things are fine, except net
connection. I tried to connect my n72 with a usb blutooth device to
get net connection. Wizard finds my phone, i can connect it to pc but
what next? How to connect to internet? No option in network or
blutooth icon in task bar.
Please help me to connect net via blutooth?

[Ubuntu-BD] Help needed to run Live CD

Hi
I was using ubuntu 9.01 for last 5 months. I also used Linux Mint 8 Helena.
Yesterday I went to join Bontu-Mintur Adda, It was a nice gathering!!
We really enjoyed it.

I bought 2 customized DVD from the Adda stall. But when I tried to run live,
there is a log in screen in the desktop, which can not be removed. I tried
both DVDs, but same case.

Can anyone help me to solve this problem? I want to use live ubuntu 10.04 or
Mint 9 first in my pc.
