Thanks for noticing. That means Korean media is still not available on
Ubuntu. And wont be available until or unless the real developers want to
make it available for Ubuntu.
You can of course try with Wine at least.

I use VLC in both Windows and Ubuntu and that's working fine. In Ubuntu, just
installed some extra codecs from software centre and got no problem yet.

As KMPlayer is at its early versions only, you might like these instead :

Nope. You can just install the codecs for the type of media you will be
playing. Almost all the players share those common codecs.

2010-06-08 Thread Ovro Niil
Surely You can do that. But I don't see any need of KMplayer in Ubuntu. As
Lenin bhai suggested, you can easily install VLC PLayer for your multimedia
puposes. You can install it from the Software Center. Also Install Ubuntu
Restricted Extras from software center.

Well, did you solved your previous sound issue? As you are a newcomer to
Ubuntu I think this
guidemay
be a little bit handy to you.

You dont need to install KMplayer for windows.

With VLC you can almost play all sorts of media with excellent quality
output.
