[Bug 1121481] [NEW] Program fails to handle server side errors
Public bug reported: dbf2mysql version 1.14a-3.1build1 as packaged on lucid run against MySQL 5.x database does not report server side errors to the user. Noted that source code for 1.14a-3.1build2 on precise does not differ (only change is update to changelog regarding linking against updated library). Steps to reproduce problem: 1. Take any available dbf file which has a field which is unique within the records (candidate key) 2. Use dbf2mysql to import the table into a database 3. Use mysql client alter the table to make the identified candidate key into a primary key ALTER TABLE test CREATE CONSTRAINT PRIMARY KEY (key) 4. Use dbf2mysql with -vvv to re-import the same file Actual behaviour: Program claims to be inserting records, but no additional records will be inserted Expected behaviour: Program should report Unique constraint violation for every record processed Error arises because code assumes that mysql_query returns 0 for OK and -1 for error; according to documentation it returns 0 for OK and non- zero for error. ** Affects: dbf2mysql (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: 10_error_handler.dpatch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1121481/+attachment/3523454/+files/10_error_handler.dpatch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1121481 Title: Program fails to handle server side errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dbf2mysql/+bug/1121481/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 601208] Re: kaffeine is missing demux plugin dvbpipe.m2t
I installed Mythbuntu 11.10 and installed kaffeine with: sudo apt-get install kaffeine I got this same error. I then did: sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg After stopping and restarting the program, it worked fine. I guess what needs to happen to resolve this is to include libxine1-ffmpeg in the dependencies for kaffeine. I would try and fix it myself, but I don't know how to do that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kaffeine in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/601208 Title: kaffeine is missing demux plugin dvbpipe.m2t To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kaffeine/+bug/601208/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

Changing the setting in System Settings Appearance GTK Styles and Fonts from 'Use my KDE Style' to 'Use another style' - 'Raleigh' fixed it for me too. [ubuntu-us] Meeting Calendar info
Not sure who to send this to, so I'm sending to the list. On the us teams calendar of upcoming meetings the New Mexico Team has the wrong dates. We meet every Thursday at 8:00 MST The odd thing is if you click on the Google Calender link Under the Schedule heading the Calendar is correct. However if you click on the link in the Upcoming Meetings section the Calendar is wrong. I'm looking at this wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/USTeams/Meetings Hope this is not to obscure?
