[Bug 2042744] Re: su -s /bin/sh -c "keystone-manage db_sync" keystone
@f11gar0, thank you for the research on this. Since you've modified eventlet code it's not possible for Keystone to carry it directly but I'm wondering if you've submitted this code to the eventlet repository and/or if there is a public bug about this issue that has bee filed there? [Bug 287448] Re: gnome-settings-daemon fails with libgstlibvisual.so error
This breaks pidgin as well BTW: $ pidgin ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file: /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstlibvisual.so Please either: - remove it and restart. - run with --gst-disable-segtrap and debug. Moved libgstlibvisual.so out of the way and pidgin starts up. -- gnome-settings-daemon fails with libgstlibvisual.so error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 76067] .local in domain line of resolv.conf activates MDNS
Public bug reported: Feisty Fawn #cat /etc/issue Ubuntu feisty (development branch) \n \l #uname -a Linux cdw-ferrari 2.6.20-1-lowlatency #3 SMP PREEMPT Wed Dec 13 17:49:52 UTC 2006 x86_64 GNU/Linux I connected to a Windows 2003 network and got DHCP from the DC. # cat /etc/resolv.conf domain company.local nameserver 10.0.0.200 # ping www.yahoo.com unknown host: www.yahoo.com I threw Wireshark on the interface and found that it was sending a MDNS query to 224.0.0.251 which is the multicast broadcast address. Changing company.local isn't in the cards as it isn't my network any more thank God. I'll just switch my /etc/nsswitch.conf.
