[Bug 748150] Re: Ubuntu 11.04 Beta fglrx black Box when rendering Windows Unity HD 6970

2011-04-02 Thread John Dandison
this bug seems similar: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-
installer/+bug/748137 - I am also seeing the behavior you are
describing.

[Bug 748137] Re: unity rendering broken with fglrx

2011-04-02 Thread John Dandison
I upgraded from 10.10 - 11.04. The GNOME desktop (Ubuntu Classic) works
fine; the Unity one does not. It appears that anything drawn on the
screen will end up masked in black, like the screenshot. My versions of
fglrx unity are identical to those above.

[Bug 653503] Re: evolution hangs on changing set up of ecxhange email account

2010-10-25 Thread John Dandison
I can also confirm, 10.10 x64, Evo 2.30.3, Exchange Server 2003.

When I kill it and reopen, clicking to expand the Exchange account
doesn't work - it immediately snaps back to collapsed. If I open the
preferences, edit the account and go to the Exchange Options tab, my Out
of Office message and folder sizes are available, so it has connected
successfully at least once - but once I click save, it hangs before I
can close the preferences window.

2010-10-25 Thread John Dandison
If I start in Offline mode, expand the exchange folder set, then hit
connect (the plugs), I seem to have Exchange working properly. Very odd
behavior.

[Bug 386272] Re: Computer won't boot without acpi=off option

2009-10-11 Thread John Dandison
You'll have to forgive my ignorance, but if I ran the installer without
ACPI support (acpi=ht), is there anyway I can install and run the
mainline kernel with ACPI support to attempt to troubleshoot?

Thanks,
