[Bug 1153112] [NEW] Gimp: rotate selection 180 degrees is off by one, making white line

2013-03-09 Thread M Morris
Public bug reported:

Related, perhaps to:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp/+bug/687737

Noticed in large image, reproduced in small one.

To reproduce:

1. Open a small image (100x100, for example).
2. Fill with black.
3. Open View - Navigation window. (not vital, but easy to see the resulting
line)
4. Draw rectangular selection.
5. Use Tool Transform Rotate and set to 180 degrees.

The white line will appear in the Navigation pane. This problem seems
different from the above bug, in that moving the selection fixes the
problem, so it doesn't seem like anything was lost, just not placed
correctly.

Seen in Ubuntu 12.04, with Gimp 2.6.12

[Bug 932274] Re: Regression: Unreadable menu bar with Ambiance theme in Java/Swing GTK LF

2013-03-08 Thread M Morris
Man, this is irritating. My low-ball workaround is to switch to high
contrast theme when working on a swing app, but that's got it's own
bugs for other stuff, so it's not a very good one.

[Bug 1138874] [NEW] high contrast window buttons NOT high contrast

2013-03-01 Thread M Morris
Public bug reported:

Seen in Ubuntu 12.04.2, gnome-accessibility-themes version
3.4.1-0ubuntu1.2:

Trying high contrast theme under System Settings Appearance
Themes, the minimize/maximize/close buttons are high contrast
(black, white, red) when maximized, but low contrast (grey and white) when
not maximized.

Too bad they can't just be the same as the maximized buttons.

[Bug 970117] Re: No window frames (minimize/maximize/exit) available

2013-02-01 Thread M Morris
Noticed this problem with the high contrast theme... the buttons are
there, but can't be seen (when maximized)... on a regular window,
they're visible.

[Bug 1023696] [NEW] glade not selecting menu bar item as expected

2012-07-11 Thread M Morris
Public bug reported:

Following the quickly tutorial (the one that comes with quickly, i.e. by
running at the command-line quickly tutorial), about halfway down the
part 1: Getting Started screen, under Set the signal handler in Glade,
the directions are:

Choose the Save menu item, and it will be selected in Glade.

However, when doing this, the mnu_file item remained selected, rather
than focus shifting to mnu_save ...

I'm not 100% sure it's a bug in glade, or misinformation in the quickly
tutorial.

This was found in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, under glade v. 3.12.1-0ubuntu1,
libglade2.0 v. 1:2.6.4-1ubuntu1.1
