[Bug 978120] Re: Toshiba Estudio 230 printer driver bug
As an alternative workround these printers do accept PCL - I have happily printed to e-Studio printers by selecting Generic PCL5 (mono) and PCL6XL drivers from the Cups Generic selection. The printers print happily and fast no matter what font I use. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/978120 Title: Toshiba Estudio 230 printer driver bug To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups-filters/+bug/978120/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 303644] Re: generating initrd too often
+1 here, I agree, especially working with older or virtual machines. For instance, I installed LTS (hardy) server - and had to install the -virtual kernel. This went fine, so I went to remove the -server kernel but was worried by a list of held back software, so cancelled it, leaving it half-installed. I then had to reinstall the -server kernel, which picked a later version than was on the CD... so I had to also install the specific version again to remove both and ended up with 6 or 7 mkinitrds in total from start to finish! -- generating initrd too often https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303644 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 272370] Re: cannot find projectm in rhythmbox visualisations
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 193968 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193968 This is nothing like a duplicate of the other bug! This is an intrepid and a Jaunty bug, the other bug report is about hardy, the bug is upstream (gstreamer needs openGL support) and a packaging bug (projectm- pulse is not packaged) -- cannot find projectm in rhythmbox visualisations https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 371289] Re: fail to delete directory over sshfs with nautilus
I can confirm this with same client, later server (Linux martyn-server 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux) and also with client and server Jaunty. This is so annoying because sshfs is fantastic in every other respect. -- fail to delete directory over sshfs with nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371289 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 272370] Re: cannot find projectm in rhythmbox visualisations
Rhythmbox uses gstreamer for visualisation and therefore can't use any openGL-based visualisations :( This is an upstream problem, gstreamer needs fixing, and/or libvisual using directly in rhythmbox, as amarok does, and/or projectm-pulse packaging, so we can at least fire up projectm standalone! -- cannot find projectm in rhythmbox visualisations https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
