[Bug 777014] Re: Right-click menu on hyperlink disappears on mouseover

2011-05-19 Thread Michele Mangili
Hi!

I had the same issue on 11.04 but I could easily solve this, with the
workaround found here:

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/753329#answer-161051

Workaround:

In Firefox, Go to advanced javascript settings in ubuntu it's at
Edit-Preferences-Content-Advanced (next to Enable javascript)- and
now make sure Disable or replace contex menus is not selected.

Cheers!

[Bug 305253] Re: New version crashes on startup

2009-02-17 Thread Michele Mangili
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or
challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these
instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can
be dealt with by the automatic retracer.

If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable
apport in /etc/default/apport and restart.

If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus
and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report
you wish to submit.
If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using
/usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a
terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report.

I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will
automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more
efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

I'd suggest to attach to this report the Capture Log even though you

I've rechecked my applet installation, and it appears to belong to
network-manager-gnome, so I've reassigned the bug. I'm using network-
  manager-gnome 0.7~~svn20081020t000444-0ubuntu1.

I think that the best package to report this issue is
network-manager-applet, so I'd suggest not to move this report.

Interestingly, the ssid noise doesn't appear in today's .xsession,
although I certainly saw it as recently as a couple weeks ago. I'll
check, and update the bug again with a chunk of .xsession-errors
demonstrating the issue next time I see it.

Great!

to report bugs effectively

if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the
problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

[Bug 311409] Re: no video device

2009-02-12 Thread Michele Mangili
Hello!

I can read at that those drivers are for a particular kernel version. It
seems that those drivers are for 2.6.24-22-generic only.

However, it seems that you are not using a software package provided by
the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can
not support or fix your particular bug. Please report this bug to the
provider of the software package. Thanks!

I'm moving this report since it looks like a kernel panic.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information.

Please include the following additional information, if you have not already
done so (pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by the
Ubuntu Kernel Team:
1. Please include the output of the command uname -a in your next response.
It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version
you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. Please run the command dmesg dmesg.log after a fresh boot and attach the
resulting file dmesg.log to this bug report.
3. Please run the command sudo lspci -vvnn lspci-vvnn.log and attach the
resulting file lspci-vvnn.log to this bug report.

For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel-
related bug reports is available at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies Thanks in advance!
