[Bug 993117] Re: Dual monitor setup stops mouse from switching screens in Ubuntu 12.04

2012-05-09 Thread Patrick Seher
This default behavior is very annoying(especially when you move things
from one screen to the other). Maybe you should think about it to not
set this option as a default.

same here... my 1TB harddisk is not enough for a workday with remmina

[Bug 113671] NVIDIA restricted driver blocks wireless-pci NICs

2007-05-09 Thread Patrick Seher
Public bug reported:

A really strange bug, i found this bug on 2 different machine.

1.) Take a PC with an NVIDIA G-Force Card
2.) Plug in any PCI Wireless Network Card
3.) Boot Ubuntu, configure wlan(WEP), everything is ok
4.) enable the restricted NVIDIA Kernel driver.
5.) Reboot
6.) WLAN will stop working after few MBs are tranfered.
 - /etc/init.d/network reload doesnt help
 - every ping has a timeout
 - after a reboot, everything is fine for some minutes, or some transfered
MBs.
7.) With the open source NV driver, everything is allright, wlan works perfect!

Tested with this machines:
- Ubuntu 7.04, AMD X2 4200+, 1024MB, Via Chipset, G-Force 7800 GTS, Zyxel
AG-320 (ndiswrapper)
- Ubuntu 7.04, AMD Athlon 1400+, 512MB, Via Chipset, G-Force 5600, D-Link
Wireless Card (kernel driver)

** Affects: Ubuntu
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Unconfirmed
