[Bug 401038] [NEW] sticky notes keeping hidden

2009-07-18 Thread Tobias Strauß
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

system under test: ubuntu 9.04 amd64
compiz Version: 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu8.1
gnome-applets Version: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
fglrx-kernel-source: Version: 2:8.620-0ubuntu3
gfx: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV710 [Radeon HD
4550]

Click on sticky note icons let disappear all notes. Click again does
just produce short flickering of existing notes. They are still hidden.

workaround:
compiz --replace fixes it most time. If not, start metacity --replace
first.

I have a problem with Virtualbox 3.0.2 with in fullscreen on second
screen, workaround is  the same.

[Bug 256480] Re: network-manager 0.7 breaks resolvconf integration

2008-09-09 Thread Tobias Strauß
i had found a simple work around:
place the following script in /etc/network/if-up.d/zzz_resolvconffix
-
#!/bin/sh
[ -x /sbin/resolvconf ] || exit 0

[ x$ADDRFAM == xinet6 ]  exit 0

rm /etc/resolv.conf
ln -s /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf

for NS in $DHCP4_DOMAIN_NAME_SERVERS ; do
R=${R}nameserver $NS

done
echo -n $R | /sbin/resolvconf -a ${IFACE}.${ADDRFAM}

 and run chmod 755 /etc/network/if-up.d/zzz_resolvconffix

 ... just reconnect your nm session

[Bug 202829] [NEW] balsa is missing s/mime crypto support

2008-03-16 Thread Tobias Strauß
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: balsa

when i open a mail with s/mime parts, Balsa complains about missing this
feature. The necessary tool (gpgme) is installed. I found balsa's s/mime
support mentioned at: http://www.mynetcologne.de/~nc-
dreszal/balsa/balsa23-secure-mail.html

i think compiling with --enable-smime would do the trick.
