files list file for package `libglib-perl' is missing final newline

This is causing problems with a fair few packages now... I'm not an
ubuntu dev but this is annoying so I'm going to make some time to look
into it.

O.K,

I moved the bad file and everything sorted itself out. I ran a file
system check and everything looks fine the forums have a few tales
of woe involving broken list files for packages so perhaps someone
should look into that.

Either way, this bug can be marked CLOSED.

Ok, so obviously the problem is in libglib-perl.

I had a look at /var/lib/dpkg/info/libglib-perl.list and its got a fair
bit of crap in there (by crap I mean bad characters, random smatters of
bad data)

The problem was not with the cabextract package. Just some file
corruption
