Resp. Sir, Solution 1: Keep the printer connected and restart the computer. Solution 2: Do not connect the printer. Start the computer, connect to internet, then connect the printer and start the printer. It might ask for an update, just say yes and it will connect to HP servers, download the software and install automatically. Thats fine I will tell u what I have learned from my problems of installing 8.0.4. It does not overrite the earlier installation! You have to delete the partition containing earlier version and create a free space. I hope you know how to do that, right? then install the newer version.
