[Bug 674298] Re: Hibernation warning sometimes hidden
Thinking about it, the reason I noticed the pop-up was there before the system hibernated was because I was clicking back and forth on different windows anyway at the time, meaning the power warning may have popped up just as I clicked another window, hiding it without me noticing. [Bug 657935] Re: [STAGING] rt2800pci fails reconnect after suspend
rt2860 isn't in use according to lspci -k : Kernel driver in use: rt2800pci Also, there is a slight difference between suspending and hibernating : Waking from suspend : NM applet shows trying to connect, then after 1-2 minutes, fails. I've had an occasional hard lock-up (total system freeze requiring power-off) after logging back in too. Not sure if it's connected to the WLAN) Waking from hibernation : NM applet shows trying to connect, then after 1-2 minutes, asks for WPA key, then tries to connect for another 1-2 minutes, asks for WPA key, etc, etc, etc. dmesg shows the same Indirect register access failed in both instances. And, pressing the wireless enable/disable function key on the notebook I use (eeePC 901) fixes the problem, allowing connection *even after subsequent suspends/hibernates*. I've attached what dmesg shows about the disable/enable WLAN button FWIW. ** Attachment added: result of pressing the WLAN disable / enable button https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/657935/+attachment/1707307/+files/dmesg-wlan-off-on.log -- [STAGING] rt2800pci fails reconnect after suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657935 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 430351] Re: Logitech mouse MX revolution not configured properly
7 buttons on this mouse don't work by default. 6 do work. Some sort of mouse setup control panel to allow configuring / assigning buttons / key strokes etc for all mice would be very useful. -- Logitech mouse MX revolution not configured properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430351 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 629453] [NEW] Distro installation summary
Public bug reported: A non-technical user was observed during the setup process of Ubuntu 10.04. The only thing that they didn't understand during the seven page wizard, was the partition configuration text of the installation summary on page seven, which is very verbose. If the system only has one hard disk available for example (say /dev/hda, with no /dev/hdb-z or /dev/sda-z), then the summary could say something friendlier like : Ubuntu will be installed to the main/first hard disk. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Distro installation summary https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/629453 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 629453] Re: Distro installation summary
Great. I toyed with suggesting that, but thought it too radical =) Good work. -- Distro installation summary https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/629453 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
