We should start using our launchpad buglist as a todo again.. Or another
system! things get lost now, and one doesn't read 100 mails back.. Now Jan
talks about it I remember that mail passing by, but I myself was also busy
then..

2012-02-09 Thread Jan Bongaerts
Hear hear!
I remember Adrien put out an invitation to write targets for the council in
November. Unfortunately I was too busy to contribute, but I'm wondering
what the outcome was, if any?

Please let's make sure the efforts of the individuals involved will not go
in vain.
I'm sure all of the council members do their thing for the cause, but I
have a feeling there is little coordination. Maybe I'm wrong. As a
non-council member, I have no feedback of what is happening or living
within the council as it is existing now.

Don't get me wrong. I am not pointing any fingers, or slinging any mud.
I am just curious of what happened after the meeting of 24 May 2011.

Cheers,
Jan.

[Ubuntu-be] Belgian LoCo Team Council 2011 - 2012

2012-02-09 Thread jean7491

Dear members of the Council,

(Adrien, Jan, Jurgen, Pierre, Pieter, Mark)

As far as I remember, the first council created after the 25/04/2011 IRL
meeting had a long to-do list (see following IRC meetings).

One of the priorities was to organize election in April 2012 for a new
(elected) council starting on 1th May 2012.

For familial circumstances I had to take distance with a lot of
activities (including the Ubuntu community) and perhaps I missed some
mails.

I have no information about the development of the council and there was
(AFAIK) no communication in the mailing-list.

As participant to the 25/04/2011 meeting, I hope that the meeting was
not a waste of time and that the council-work is going on for the election.

And BTW, as a re-approval of the LoCo team should occur in February, the
council could lead the procedure.

Regards,
