yes. I have hesitated to buy "kandidaten.be" but as I did not have the
energy to lead such a project, I did not want to loose money

[Ubuntu-be] OpenVLD and candidats.be

2007-02-11 Thread Nicolas Pettiaux
I have just learned that VLD had been officially renamed yesterday to "OpenVLD"

THis has for the party a specifique understanding but ... we could
also contact them and let them know that for other people, this has
also a strong meaning.

Hopefully, we can use this to let then advocate themselves the "open
standard" engagement that the government has taken in June this year
(23/6/2006) to support ODF

Another point that can inspire our Flemisch speaking friend on this list.

I am setting up the "candidats.be" website, taking as basis the
"candidats.fr" site (I have all its content and DBs if you want to
translate that in Vlaams), to ask publically some questions related to
matters that interest us (the people using free softwares and free
contents, promoting a real investment in the share of ideas ..) to all
the Belgian Frenchspeaking at least (maybe Flemisch speaking if I have
some help) and hopefully most candidates.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you want to participate.

Thanks,
