Stickers will arrive at people's places again Very Soon Now(tm) !

It took some more time than I thought to get them in Belgium, but now I

Well I supose it costs more to pay someone to check it then to let them

I received the stickers yesterday.
Thank you

The change was announced a couple of months ago, but I didn't hear about
it before either... ;-)

Anyway, your letter came through with a 46 cent stamp even if that
wasn't okay anymore on that day, so (fortunately) someone at 'De Post'
didn't do their work properly either. :P

I send these stickers out in batches more or less every month. IIRC
last time was during the last week of June.

I found an enveloppe from you with a postal date of 2007-08-02 and, in
my box of processed requests, an empty opened enveloppe with a postal
date of 2007-05-18. So if you didn't receive the one from May,
something went wrong on the way to your mailbox. The enveloppe in your
request from early August has only a 0,46 € stamp on it (but I'll fix
that for this time because your previous request went wrong somehow).

I'll send stickers out again this week, but for some reason I received a
lot of requests during the last 3 weeks (about as much as the 3 months
before that) and I don't have enough stickers for everybody anymore. I
think new stickers will arrive in 1-2 weeks, but it might be longer if
the Belgian customs want to be annoying again.

Now, some general tips for people who want to get some of these
stickers:

  * in the enveloppe you send me, include an empty, open enveloppe
that has your address written/printed at the front
  * make sure there is a correct postal stamp on it (all letters
have to use the Prior tariff now, so 0,52 € !!!)
  * if someone outside of Belgium wants stickers, that's okay, but
they should include an International Reply Coupon, not stamps
from Poland or Italy or whatever
  * it's probably a good idea to put the Ubuntu-stickers address
above on the backside of the enveloppe

You could try a local printing service, I know one in Rijkevorsel, but
if you're not from the area, I suppose you could try any other, I think
any "drukkerij/imprimeur" allows you to give them an immage to make
stickers from... wich area are you searching?

Guess what? Wheels have been round for a really long time, and anybody
who "reinvents" the new wheel is generally considered a crackpot. It
turns out that "round" is simply a good form for a wheel to have. It may
be boring, but it just tends to roll better than a square, and "hipness"
has nothing what-so-ever to do with it. -- Linux Torvalds,

In fact, I've contacted the guy at effraie before he posts the address.
He was looking for a distribution point in Belgium.
I've proposed myself and it was ok until he checks on system76 and
told me there is already a distribution point in Belgium.
So he doesn't got more info that the address taken from the system76' website.
