Hoi,

please fill bug report at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/support.points.map/ and discuss bugs there.

On top-right of map.ubuntu-be.org there should be a menu a "login"
entry. Once legged in with your email address and the paswword
provided at registration, you should find a "edit my profile" entry in
the menu. If you can't remember the password you provided at
registration, there is also a "lost password" entry.

Did you also use kubuntu/kde and konqueror? I think I know what the 'problem'
might be. I have set the option 'open http and https URLs in an application
based on the contents of the URL'. I guess kde visits the url (http head?) to
determine the mime-type of the response and then opens the url in an
application based on the mime-type. So the page that was opened in konqueror
was the second time the url is visited ...

I have registered again. When I confirmed my registration, it said that my
confirmation code was not a valid confirmation code, but my registration
seems to be completed...

Hi,

yes, if your zipcode was invalid (300 in stead of 3000), your profile
has not been imported. If it's ok for you, the easiest for us is that
you register again.

Re: [Ubuntu-be] Support points map status

2007-04-17 Thread mongolito404
Hoi

Yes, we din't upgrade the beta-site. The new map application is now
deployed on production on map.ubuntu-be.org. Update and bug fixes are
applied there on no anymore at the beta site. The beta site, and any
map running is scheduled for removal. A mail about the new map
deployment should be sent to all supporters but it has yet to be
written.

In the meantime, if you visit map.ubuntu-be.org and if it's has
changed for you (DNS propagation) you can continue to test features
and report bugs. As usual, we will try to fix them.

Re: [Ubuntu-be] Support points map status

2007-04-17 Thread Wouter Horré
Hi,

This is nice!

Two remarks/questions:
1. The dutch translation seems incomplete. I'll try to find some time this
weekend to complete it.
2. I was a support point, but my entry seems to be lost in the migration
process. I know there was a typo in my address (300 Leuven, instead of 3000
Leuven), so maybe that is the reason. Shall I register again, or is my entry
to be recovered from somewhere?

Wouter

I think I fixed this one (and some other typos) in rosetta last week. It is
probably not yet deployed on the beta site.

fair enough,

I've just ran through the i18n test again on
(http://ubuntumapbeta.lusis.be/beta) and could now verify correct entry
and display of the data, so I assume it is safe to close this one.
(remeber that I could never perform a new data test since for some
reason validation never worked for me)

However, I _did_ report an obvious utf8 issue with old imported data
(which is still present: "Ismaël") So whatever data-import procedure
you have been using before, I think it should be checked and ammended
before taking it into production!

Furthermore, I also noticed the updated lost-password procedure and the
red-highlighting for validation errors, nice work + nice to see my
feedback was useful enough to consider :-)

One last thingy though: (see launchpad
https://bugs.launchpad.net/support.points.map/+bug/107238)

the dutch version of the first show-option-button is showing a typo
"eeb gratus Ubuntu-installatieset"

should be
"een gratis Ubuntu-installatieset"
