Ao contrário do que se propaga por aí, nem toda banda de rock é

Isso de Ubuntu Satanic é muita palhaçada. No site, quem vomitou essa
sujeira chega ao cúmulo de aconselhar instalar por cima do Ubuntu CE,
outra coisa que, enquanto cristão, discordo um pouco..
Para uma distribuição que prega tolerância, ter seu nome associado à uma
"variação" preconceituosa é o fim da picada.
Jogo RPG e foram "iniciativas" desse porte que fizeram muitos
fundamentalistas cristãos generalizarem e acusarem o jogo de satanismo.
Sinceramente, não acredito que algo que pregue como filosofia as Leis de
Qelema ("Faze o que tu queres, há de ser o todo da Lei" -- lembra alguma
coisa? Sim, ele era satanista!), ou seja, se alguém me importunar demais
devo dar cabo dele para que deixe de me chatear, seja "a verdadeira
alegria dos homens". Penso, sim, que qualquer idéia de subjugação deve
ser repudiada e combatida, seja ela qual for, doa a quem doer*.
Desculpem o desabafo, mas desde cedo vi essa thread e pensei muito antes
de responder. Penso ser necessário expor meus pensamentos a respeito
disso, e é claro que aceitarei qualquer crítica ao que eu falei.

Olavo, Seguindo o tutorial, baixei o xdebconfigurator, que gerou a saida: VIDEO DRIVER: intel O pacote xserver-xorg-video-intel já estava instalado no sistema. Quando dou o comando: glxinfo | grep rendering Ele retorna: direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose) O que significa que a placa de vídeo não tem suporte a aceleração 3D ou não está configurada. Não ter suporte 3D eu descarto, pois no Windows funciona perfeitamente. O problema é de configuração mesmo. Mais precisamente em relação ao driver. Estou enviando outra screenshot do meu "screens and graphics", o detalhe é que quando eu mudo as configurações lá, o sistema automaticamente altera para essas 2 opções setadas. E quando tento mudar manualmente (configurando o xorg) para i810, o X trava. Desculpem por encher o saco, mas estou doido querendo configurar esta porcaria! Bagunça no sentido de alterar as resoluções, nivelando por baixo, altera a ordem do monitor 1 e 2, só o monitor 2 passou a funcionar... esses esquemas... o fato é que não sei como configurar. O monitor que estou querendo colocar junto é um samsung synmaster 551v, VGA. Antigamente o Xfce era parecido com o BlackBox e não tinha ícones, agore tem. Penso que o primeiro procedimento a se fazer seria verificar se a caixa de e-mail está lotada, pois, segundo me consta, quando isto ocorre o gerenciador automaticamente para de enviar e-mails. Para alterar isto, deve-se modificar manualmente a opção no yahoo grupos. Mas, provavelmente você não receberá este e-mail também.
