Olá Eduardo desculpa a demora na resposta mais só hoje é que pode testar o wi-fi do notebook mais fiz de acordo como você descreveu e funcionou legal mesmo so tive que informa o tipo de wi-fi ia usar e se digitar a criptografia de 64 bits, mais no mais deu tudo certo pena que em clicar no icone da conexão não da certo conectar mais fora isso esta tudo blz. ola eduardo, boa noite. Sei como é ter um recém nascido em casa. amigo obrigado por me responder ao meu email. a respeito ao lsmod tenho ele funcionando mano: rt2500178276 1 e os também tentei com os pacotes rt2500, rt2500-source e com o rt2x00 e o source. o wifi-radar já esta instalado mano só que não tinha alterado pois ele já conseguia usar ele normal e reconhecendo minha rede. Agora no momento estou sem rede sem fio porque devolvi o roteador mais semana que vem vou esta com um ourto roteador ok e ai eu dou a resposta mais se tiver mais alguma coisa pra passar eu agredeço. Dá pra imaginar, né?? :) Eu tenho sim uma placa de rede wireless pcmcia RT2500. tenho o Xubuntu rodando no meu notebook toshiba e demorei algum tempo até conseguir colocar a plaquinha pra rodar.. Infelizmente meu note não está aqui comigo agora, mas vou tentar adiantar algumas informações. rode o lsmod e veja qual o módulo está subindo para a placa de rede.. não me lembro com certeza quais eu tentei, mas sei que foram 2 até conseguir fazer funcionar. Instale o pacote rt2500 pelo apt-get # apt-get install rt2500 rode o lsmod pra ver se ele foi carregado. Depois disso, instale um programinha chamado wifi-radar. # apt-get install wifi-radar Wifi-radar é uma GUI que lista as redes disponíveis e conecta depois de configuradas. Para o wifi-radar funcionar com a placa rt2500, vc tem que editar o arquivo /etc/wifi-radar e configurar pra funcionar com a interface de rede ra0.
