te mandar um modelo de grub pronto tenta colocar ele pra ver se funciona ok

Tenho dois HDs com as seguintes partições:
hda1 windows xp
hdb1 swap
hdb2 linux reiserfs na qual está o slackware 10.2

Instalei o GRUB do ubuntu especificando na instalação o local /dev/hdb,
MBR do HD slave, mas não está dando boot pelas opções Ubuntu e Windows do
GRUB.

O que devo fazer para solucionar esses problemas ?
A opção slackware não apareceu entre as opções do GRUB.
O arquivo /boot/grub/menu.lst está assim:
