[Bug 200379] Re: [KDE4] hardy, khtml/kdecore, konqueror crashed during regular use
I've experienced crashes on this assertion several times with Konqueror 4.1 in Hardy using the kubuntu-members-kde4 ppa. It happens irregularly when i close Konqueror (which is not so strange as it's KHTMLFactory's destructor that calls KHTMLGlobal::finalCheck() which contains the assertion.) Right now I can't reproduce it (obviously ;P) but I know that it still happens with 4.1. ** Changed in: kdebase-kde4 (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- [KDE4] hardy, khtml/kdecore, konqueror crashed during regular use https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200379 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I hate to admit this, but I just re ran the program the same as I did before and it seems to have worked. reh4c the bug system is not for user support. You have various support avenues, such as IRC, community documentation or the Ubuntu forums. While this error prevents high resolution modes in virtual consoles I find that the system will still progress to GDM and allow gnome sessions as expected. -- Switched from vesafb to uvesafb, but uvesafb can't work without v86d https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246269 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 66760] Re: palette indexes in eft-theme.c should not be prefixed with 0x
Well, looking at the related branches at the top of the page, it appears that it is your branch. I cannot change it but it would appear that you can. Are you saying it won't let you change your own branch? I would think all you would need to do is make the fix on your computer and then do a bzr commit to update it(I'm more familiar with svn than bzr but if I remember correctly, it's commit command is almost identical) Branch page: Update this branch: You cannot upload to this branch. Only Saïvann Carignan can upload to this branch. I understand that someone else will have to actually merge it with the main usplash code. I was thinking you could update your branch to rev 228 to the corrected palette colors, and I would think that then the status should be "Best Fix Available" as the solution is pretty obvious and the actual person merging can read our proofs posted above. As far as this page, once your branch is updated, wouldn't the status need to be changed to "Fix commited"? -- palette indexes in eft-theme.c should not be prefixed with 0x https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/66760 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. [Bug 258593] Re: Please merge showimg 0.9.5-1.3 (universe) from Debian (unstable)
I have contacted the upstream author about this package and am waiting a reply. For anyone interested in taking a look - attached is my current debdiff. The problem lies in the building of the package. When trying to build with libkonq5-dev, kdelibs5-dev is required. The package is also dependant on libkexif1-dev which is not kdelibs5-dev compatible as of this time. The package builds in Debian Sid and Sid still has KDE 3.5. ** Attachment added: "debdiff" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16877037/debdiff -- Please merge showimg 0.9.5-1.3 (universe) from Debian (unstable) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258593 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
