This line is not a valid line in an email message header. Since it belongs to the preceding line it should start with some whitespace. There are two possibilities: a) Yahoo fails to add the Authentication-Results header in the correct format. b) KMail corrupts the header when it receives the message. I think b is highly unlikely because we would have noticed if there was such a serious bug in KMail. a, OTOH, is probably not noticed by many other people because other mail clients are probably more forgiving when they encounter such an invalid line in the header. You should be able to verify whether it's Yahoo's fault by checking your mail with another mail client and then looking at the source with this other mail client. Marcel, just update using UpdateManager or simular and you shouldn't suffer from bug 275410 anymore. [Bug 297842] Re: Thunar segfaults on powerpc (rebuild needed)
** Description changed: Thunar segfaults immediately when run on a G4 (PowerPC) Mac Mini. xfdesktop crashes almost as quickly (I had to click on a desktop icon). Here's my adventures with this bug: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=977120 I did an "apt-get source" in order to debug the problem but found that after I'd rebuilt Thunar with dpkg-buildpackage, it worked fine. I then rebuilt xfdesktop4 with the same results. I eventually built working packages for everyone: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=6163764&postcount=21 ...but it would be better if these packages were just rebuilt and distributed via "apt-get upgrade". I have tried comparing the working and non-working binaries and it looks to me like there might have been an incorrect version of a library when they were built - possibly libglib. See my comments in the forum about it - it may be a good idea to discover what happened because perhaps other packages should also be rebuilt. + + --- + SRU requirements + + Impact of this bug: the primary file manager for Xubuntu cannot be run + and Xubuntu's desktop manager also crashes frequently. + + Fix: no source changes, just a package rebuild. Pedro, unfortunately I couldn't reproduce the issue with rigorous steps. Yesterday, in order to re-tag my photos, I did various tag searches and at the end my f-spot hanged-up (I waited for it for some minutes and at the end I killed it). I know that this is vague. [Bug 300194] [NEW] import feeds from firefox into akregator
Public bug reported: There is a bug when I set akregator as default RSS reader and I want to import feeds directly from firefox. So say I have akregator installed and set it as default application for RSS feeds in firefox. Then I can click on the RSS symbol in the location bar and akregator will automatically import this feed. So far, so good. But there is one problem: the imported URL is always wrong and for a very simple reason, it looks something like http:newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/ i.e. it's always http:... which cannot be right since it's 4 /'s. [Bug 300193] [NEW] The realtime kernel is unstable on VIA MII (modules crash, i/o problems, does not shut down)
Public bug reported: I tried the kernel on my Via MII 1,2 Ghz Mini-ITX, but encountered quite a few problems. The kernel reports a lot of crashes, which are most probably the cause of much of this. See the attachment. I can't get good latencies with the programs I want, such as jackd. In fact, latencies are better with the generic kernel. I can't get good I/O performance like with the generic kernel, such as streaming video to mythfrontends. I can't shut down the computer, it hangs at one point. A Ctrl+C gets me a bit further but it still hangs. I'd be happy to help out with testing -rt on this hardware. I will also soon test the Hardy kernel to see if there's any difference. ** Affects: linux-rt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- The realtime kernel is unstable on VIA MII (modules crash, i/o problems, does not shut down) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300193 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 286828] Re: Access to samba<3.0.26 shares using CIFS is broken on 8.10
The "nodfs" option was added by this patch: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=2c1b861539c15491593625920058e06452cd3747 which went in right after 2.6.27 came out so will be in 2.6.28. The patch is small and could be added to this 2.6.27 distro kernel easily enough. Apparently most distros did not ship the two problematic Samba versions on their server, or have done a mandatory upgrade, which is why we don't see this problem (server parsing of dfs paths) more often. Re: [Bug 293044] Re: Unable to suspend to RAM on a HP dv6602 laptop
Oh well if I am the only one affected from this bug it is of no use to start looking into the problem. Please mark this bug invalid and hopefully it will be fixed in the next version (I am really praying god). By the way I stumbled upon another bug a couple of days ago I strongly suspect it is in someway related to this issue. Also, many people with HP device have reported this problem (this includes me also). Here is the link: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272247. There is a work around posted there do you think it could be the cause of this problem? If yes please let me know. I've let the system not install any updates for a couple of weeks, then blasted them all at once (the only thing that seems to trigger this) and neither an update of 86 or so files nor the version update to Intrepid (1600 or so files) resulted in any such failures, so it may be fixed. -- [fglrx] atieventsd crashed with SIGSEGV in XextAddDisplay https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201650 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 213206] Re: SoundMAX AD1988B- no digital audio
1. I did get this to work following suggested configurations from the ubuntu community. I will follow up with the exact changes in a subsequent email. 2. I am running the 64-bit version of ubuntu although I don't think that matters here. 32-bit versus 64-bit is irrelevant to the issue. 3. there is a multimedia group in the ubuntu web support community that provided useful suggestions.
