[Bug 392383] [NEW] Support automatic dependency generation for Erlang packages
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: erlang When working to reduce the dependency list for the couchdb and rabbitmq- server packages, I did it by reading the source code then trial and error. This is time consuming and may need to be repeated as the upstream source changes. It would be nice if the dependencies could be automatically generated, similar to how dh_shlibdeps does for C/C++ libraries. The module dependency information is encoded in the compiled BEAM files, so we should be able to determine which packages provide the given modules. ** Affects: erlang (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Support automatic dependency generation for Erlang packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/392383 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 392382] [NEW] Flash tray icon setting doesn't work in Ubuntu Linux
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pidgin "Blink on new message" option for tray icon in Ubuntu Linux does NOTHING. The tray icon does NOT blink, or change AT ALL. [Bug 252977] Re: Hardy and Intrepid freeze with kernel error: "Eeek! page_mapcount(page) went negative! (-1)"
Hi, Not sure if this is helpful, but I got this crash today when logging out of gnome. The machine hung at exactly the point where normally gdm would restart. I was using the "nv" driver and was about to install the proprietary nvidia driver. The only thing that I can think of that might be relevant (following from posts above) is that the video card I'm using is quite new (a GTS250), so maybe causes bugs in nv. (maybe...) Syslog is attached below. System is a fairly fresh install of Hardy. No virtualization or other funny business. [This is an automatic notification.] A new major version of the -intel driver is now available in Karmic.
