[Bug 519605] Re: File shows online but not on nautilus
F. Medeiros, I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. If you would like to help debug the problem that would be greatly appreciated. You can do the following in order to provide important details that will help determine the root cause of this issue. 1) Quit the Ubuntu One client. R-click on the Ubuntu One applet and select 'Quit' 2) Open Applications->Accessories->Terminal, then run the command: mv ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log_old && mkdir ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log 3) Run the following in the Terminal to open/create this file: gedit ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf #Add the following two (2) lines to this file and save: [__main__] log_level = DEBUG 4) Open Ubuntu One Applications->Internet->Ubuntu One 5) Let Ubuntu One run for a bit, copy some files into your Ubuntu One Folder. Then attach the following logs to this bug: ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log & ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log /syncdaemon-exceptions.log You can attach logs to this bug report by clicking the 'Add Attachment or patch' button at the bottom of the page. Thank you for filing this bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. thank you, duanedesign ** Changed in: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- File shows online but not on nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/519605 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 516909] Re: [Clarkdale] entire desktop environment locks up in 9.10, i3-530 proc, built-in graphics
The GL in GLBLUR sounds like OpenGL. You probably already know that OpenGL is the 3D graphics acceleration system in Linux. Using this will stress the graphics stack (kernel+Mesa3D+driver) more than ordinary desktop work, and may possibly expose some remaining bugs and/or limitations. My guess is that that is what has happened here. Did apport trigger and create a bug report? If so, you can use apport- collect 516909 to attach the data from the crash to this bug report. [Bug 526257] [NEW] Compiz mirrors screens on return from suspend/hibernate--dual monitors
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz Expected behavior: upon return from suspend, dual monitors should show exactly what was on them before suspend. Actual behavior: upon suspend, secondary monitor (located above primary monitor) shows what was on it before suspend, but primary monitor simply mirrors secondary monitor. Mouse pointer can move freely over both monitors as if they were a single large desktop (as though compiz does not realize that the background is simply a zombie mirror), but only secondary monitor responds to click. Steps to reproduce: 1. Turn on computer (in my case, an HP dv100 notebook with an extra, external monitor--both monitors 1280x768; running Karmic clean install). 2. Log in. 3. Check that the two monitors are displaying separate images, creating a large dual-desktop. 4. Suspend/hibernate the computer (in my case, closing the lid works). 5. awaken the computer and type in password. 6. The secondary monitor (physically topmost) will look like before, but the primary monitor (laptop screen, located below the secondary monitor) will show a nonfunctional mirror of the secondary monitor. Apologies for not attaching a log--Alt+F2 opens dialog box on my primary monitor, where it doesn't show or function when bug is in effect. [Bug 526125] Re: Opened Ubuntu One client, and it crashed after 2 minutes or so
jugney, I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you.
