[Bug 551958] Re: glabels crashed with SIGFPE in g_type_create_instance()

2010-04-19 Thread wolfen69
SevenMachines: The new build seems to work good after doing a quick
check of it. Older .glabels files open correctly, and I was able to work
on a new file without it crashing. Will keep you informed if something
changes. Keep up the good work.

[Bug 566994] [NEW] Can't see subscribed subfolders in folder list when archiving messages

2010-04-19 Thread Dallman Ross
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

It could be that one of the suggested bug reports matches my situation,
but I can't understand well enough what was written in the couple of
possible candidates to know for sure.

I refresh my folders and I see all IMAP folders and have subscribed to
them all. Yet in the folder map many subfolders are still not visible.
I have read some mail in my inbox and want to archive it to a subfolder
on the IMAP server. But from the "Move" menu I can't see the folder I
want to use. (And yet it is a subscribed folder and I can see it when I
refresh subscribed folders.)

[Bug 566459] Re: Acer Aspire One 751h microphone does not work

2010-04-19 Thread Stuart Bishop
The microphone volume in the volume control preferences does not help.

Increasing the microphone boost in alsamixer works, with sound recorder
able to record by voice fine (a bit crackly, but that might just be the
mic). Increasing the microphone volume is unnecessary.

Skype still does not work. I do not know if this is a separate bug or
part of the same issue.

[Bug 565981] Re: [KMS] gem objects not deallocated

2010-04-19 Thread Bryce Harrington
Anyone happen to know when this issue first began?

Can someone try booting earlier kernels to find which are affected?
(Assuming it to be a regression in the kernel)

If it sounds more like xorg-server, try booting earlier versions of it.
There were a number of changes between April 15th and now which looked
safe when we pulled them but would be worth ruling in or out as
possibilities.

[Bug 313642] Re: [needs packaging] miniupnpd

2010-04-19 Thread Luke Yelavich
I am interested in getting this packaged for maverick/Debian post
squeeze, however as things stand at the moment, the iptables/iptables-
dev packages don't have all the headers needed to build this. I need to
do more digging to be exactly sure of what is required, however I have
it built on my gateway box running Ubuntu Lucid, as I wanted a uPnP
solutino, and linux-igd is dead upstrea.

This really is a dupe of bug #112703, if you look at the upstream bug it
corresponds with. Although bug #112703 does seem to be tracking a
couple of different issues, that should probably be split.

[Bug 353126] Re: Compiz / vnc screen refresh with nvidia-restricted driver/VirtualBox/ATI fglrx driver using X.org prior to release 7.5

2010-04-19 Thread Dan Burke
My testing results:

Intel with Compiz Enabled: Works
Nvidia Blob with Compiz: Still Broken

My wife is using the TV so I cannot test my HTPC with fglrx yet to see
the status there.

Regardless, nobody has every investigated or stated why this worked for
all drivers, open or not, in 8.10. At any rate, it does appear that at
least the Intel driver works in 10.04.

I only aspire to be a kernel hacker - but I'll get there someday! I can
load up a test kernel and give it a try if that would help with the
debugging. Thanks again.

[Bug 64953] Re: Evolution resends old mail after power failure

2010-04-19 Thread anco
I have the same problem. If I do not close evolution, but simply go
directly to shutdown, than the next time I open up evolution it sents
seemingly randomly emails from the same day. They some how fall back
into the outbox and get resent and show up in sent items. When I look
through my sent items, many emails get sent out several times, till I
delete the stuck ones in the outbox manually or often after closing
evolution and than waiting a few seconds before totally shutting down
seems to empty the outbox.

I clearly have no handle yet on this problem, People report me that I
send many double emails, and indeed the sent items proofs this problem.
It all started recently after upgrading from 9.04 to ubuntu 9.10 on Dell
Mini 9, Many problems arose since. Double icons in gnome and gnome menu
bar mixed up. Evolution 2.28.1 is my current version. I hope the next
upgrade to 10.04 will free me from this problem as it only came up the
last few months and is really annoying to think about closing evolution
first before shutting down the computer.

[Bug 555286] Re: Kernel crash when switching off wlan after wlan hangup (iwl3945)

2010-04-19 Thread Gabe Gorelick
I originally marked it as a a duplicate since the kernel traces are
similar, but since you claim the crash is not the main issue here, I've
unmarked it.

[Bug 566986] [NEW] New upstream release available

2010-04-19 Thread Daniel Elstner
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu (and Debian) currently package version 1.8.0 of cairomm. This
version is heavily outdated. The latest stable release 1.8.4 was made in
October 2009. Due to the revamped build system based on mm-common, the
1.8.4 release of cairomm fixes quite a number of problems related to
packaging and system integration, including the bugs #452733 and
#515638.

Apart from that, the current libcairomm-1.0-dev development package in
Lucid is completely unusable because it ships with an utterly broken
cairommconfig.h file which redefines macros such as PACKAGE_NAME or
VERSION. This, too, was fixed in cairomm 1.8.4.

Please update the package to version 1.8.4 as soon as possible.

Marking this 'Confirmed'. I've now seen this on my local hardware,

[Bug 566982] [NEW] Network Manager does not notice it needs to update for over 30 minutes

2010-04-19 Thread tz
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

At 4:30 I left work after shutting down my AP. I don't suspend or
hibernate my laptop. I get home 15 minutes later and open my laptop 15
minutes after that. No connecton. It still lists the AP from work.
Nothing I do for over a minute with the main menu will show anything
different. Eventually I disabled wireless, then reenabled it and after
a few seconds it found the correct home AP and I was back online.

Whatever is supposed to be happening automatically is still completely
broken.

It DOES NOT REFRESH AUTOMATICALLY. It can sit for an hour without
getting a new list or reassociating.

Yet there is no way to manually refresh it short of disabling the
adapter and reenabling it.

[Bug 515638] Re: libcairomm documentation doesn't use gtk-doc (and therefore doesn't show up in DevHelp)

2010-04-19 Thread Daniel Elstner
This has nothing to do with gtk-doc. DevHelp does not require the use of
gtk-doc -- it only needs a DevHelp file. The latest cairomm 1.8.4, which
was released in October 2009, should ship with a DevHelp file.
Unfortunately the package in Ubuntu is grossly out of date.

2010-04-19 Thread lunkwill
Public bug reported:

This is a bug in v4l2, not cheese, but I couldn't find the appropriate

I already published the backported patch, but the problem is that the
patch is huge, and as the release will be out in a few days, besides
being an LTS one, I don't think the patch will be incorporated.

The good thing is that at the time they decide to update the kernel to
2.6.33 this fix will be included by default.
