[Bug 701187] [NEW] Toggling the Hamster applet via hotkey does not reliably bring the window to the front
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hamster-applet Steps to reproduce: - Open a gnome-terminal - Place the gnome-terminal so that it covers the area where the hamster applet popup will appear - Toggle the popup visibility via hotkey (such as Super-) Now more often than not, the popup will appear _behind_ the gnome- terminal. In other words, the popup won't be visible. This basically renders the hotkey functionality useless, for me. [Bug 701179] [NEW] Rythmbox icon does not open menu correctly from notification bar in Ubuntu 10.10
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox When I click the rhythmbox icon in the notification bar, instead of showing the useful "play/next/previous, quit" options in a dropdown, it shows a uselessly shortened menu with no menu text. Essentially, a left-click only highlights the notification icon and displays a broken shortened dropdown menu. Right click works as normal. This also means that: When you open the rythmbox application, it just shows as the notification icon, which is unusable. When you close the rythmbox application it minimizes to the notification bar instead of actually closing, rendering it unusable. The only workaround is to open rythmbox twice for force access to the actual window.
