I even tried logging in using the classic Ubuntu desktop, and still have the same problem. If this doesn't have a fix, I'll be down-grading pretty soon. [Bug 607560] Re: jbd2 writing block every 5 - 10 seconds, preventing disk spin-down and making noise
After some days testing several configs to see which one could achieve a better result towards sync_supers' anger, I think I've found a good workaround. Re: [Bug 157165] Re: [needs-packaging] Oracle DBXML
Although I'm no longer at Oracle working on Berkeley DB I am fairly confident when I say that the majority of the changes in BDB since 4.8 were related to a) the integration of the SQLite layer (the SQL API) and b) scalability/locking changes below the API to improve multi-core scalability. I think that is why the older version of BDB XML still works as expected with the latest version of BDB. Of course testing the combination should be something that the community does to ensure quality as I'm sure that Oracle will not bless this combination as supported until they release a newer version of BDB XML. -greg On Sun, Jun 5, 2011 at 8:52 AM, Daniël de Kok m...@danieldk.eu wrote: Works for our application: - Created a database with dbxml, linked against DB 5.1 on Ubuntu. - Opened with dbxml, linked against DB 4.8 on OS X. [Bug 622524] Re: See question; #122091; WNDA3100v2 still fails; ndiswrapper crashes system
Hello Fabio, I went back to the shop and change the wnda3100v2 for a Belkin FD74101v1, the seller did not know what chipset it was, so I gave it a try: it is the same chipset! (Broacom bcm4323) I found this though: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ndiswrapper/index.php?title=Belkin_F7D4101v1 But i still did not get it to work on natty amd64 on a gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H I tried the latest kernel, but did not manage to compile ndiswrapper from source (error 2) BUT it works fine on natty x86 on my NB30! I did not try the wnda3100v2 on the x86, maybe it would have worked as well... Good luck and thanks to everybody for any help! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/622524 Title: See question; #122091; WNDA3100v2 still fails; ndiswrapper crashes system -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 755459] Re: invisible window again
Ah yes, it wouldn't work on oneric since the metacity keybindings in gnome-control-center were removed. I'll have to make a new package which disregards that when I get time. Is this designed to build on natty or oneiric?
