[Bug 855251] Re: Error in special characters in gnome-language-selector
Ok, thanks for the additional info. I'm glad you made it work, btw. :) Hopefully you are still willing to answer the below questions. When I said that 'pt_BR' is not a valid locale name, I meant that it shouldn't have been a valid locale name considering that this is Ubuntu, which by default only uses UTF-8. (I don't know if Lubuntu differs in this respect, though.) Anyway, it seems like you in addition to the pt_BR.UTF-8 locale also have a locale for latin1. Can you please let us know what the 'locale -a' command outputs? I'd guess that the lines pt_BR pt_BR.iso88591 are included in the list. Did you possibly play around with locales in a way that might explain how the latin1 locale (ISO-8859-1) is available on your computer? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/855251 Title: Error in special characters in gnome-language-selector To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-selector/+bug/855251/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 856110] Re: USB headset speaker volume unaffected by volume control
** Description changed: With my Logitech USB headset, it should be possible to control the - speaker volume with the tuner in Sound Prefernces -> Output -> Premium + speaker volume with the tuner in Sound Preferences -> Output -> Premium Stereo USB Headset 350 Analog Stereo. However, this control has absolutely no effect. The only way I was able to control the speaker volume was by installing gnome-alsamixer, and controlling it from there. [Bug 842745] Re: Stacked Monitors: missing screen area when lower (low res) monitor is centered under high-res monitor
Partly confirmed. I can't reproduce the misplaced indicators, but the launcher will fail to display if it's set to autohide. You need to push the mouse all the way to the virtual left hand side of the largest monitor (still on the small one) before the launcher appears on the small monitor. WORKAROUND: Configure the Launcher to never hide in CompizConfig Settings Manager. ** Changed in: unity Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/842745 Title: Stacked Monitors: missing screen area when lower (low res) monitor is centered under high-res monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/842745/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
