[Bug 855085] Re: Add libapt* to the striptranslations blacklist
Why do we need to do this? Blacklisting would mean that apt packages will ship all *.po files right in the .deb, as opposed to through langpacks. [Bug 814598] Re: Launcher - Unity launcher shows windows in the order they were minimized. It should be the reverse.
Another use case... 1) open thunderbird 2) create a new message 3) switch to firefox 4) click on thunderbird icon in the launcher to come back to thunderbird Result: - thunderbird main window appears. You have to click again in the icon in launcher to get the choice between the two windows, then double click on new message window, to be able to go on with your ongoing work in thunderbird... Expected result: - the last active window in the thunderbird group is shown, that is the message you're currently editing. [Bug 764931] Re: desktop couch service changes to zombieprocess
I have this problem, too. Essentially I have two instances of couchdb running. One is a zombie called 'desktop-couch-se' that is zombie in 'do_exit()', the other is called 'desktop-couch-service' in do_wait() that is fine' couchdb itself has two instances as well, one is in 'do_wait()' the other is in 'pipe_wait()'. Also, when the thread becomes zombie my desktop wallpaper and fonts become garbled and CPU gets laggy (like a memory leak). I am using the rt overclock option for pulseaudio that can be installed with jackaudio and this problem started for me with Ubuntu 11.04. But if I reboot, move the dongle, etc., then things don't work any more until I put the mouse back in pairing mode, plug in the dongle, and re-associate them. Oh alright then, thank you. I guess I'll wait until my router needs to be replaced before using Ubuntu. [Bug 855635] [NEW] [regression] Dkms quits with error if directory contains build, kernel etc
Public bug reported: In the Oneiric version of dkms, you cannot run this command: /usr/sbin/dkms mkdeb --source-only --no-prepare-kernel --no-clean-kernel --dkmstree /tmp/dkms-packaging/buildroot/build --sourcetree /tmp/dkms- packaging/buildroot/src --installtree /tmp/dkms- packaging/buildroot/install -m alsa-hda -v 0.1 This is because the tree path matches build.
