Re: [Bug 864456] Re: Amilo Li 1720 wireless network broken after upgrade to Natty 11.04
Hi, I just keep the acer-wmi module blacklisted. Once the card got deactivated somehow, I then removed the blacklist, restarted, reinserted the blacklist, restarted again, which made the card active and working again. I have so to speak not solved anything but have the card working by this. [Bug 905875] [NEW] Support for incremental search in less
Public bug reported: Less doesn't support incremental search (also known as search-as-you- type). Something like vim's "set incsearch" option would be very useful. [Bug 92599] Re: Incorrect (low/stuttering) refresh rate with NVIDIA driver
"However, it seems to me that performance is still a little better when *not* using twinview." This is not surprising. Regretfully compiz does have to use the detected frame rate for some (very few) things even with the fix. And if the frame rate reported by the driver is still wrong (TwinView enabled) then some things might still be slightly worse performing than with TwinView disabled. The solution should simply be setting the correct refresh rate in CCSM (Composite Section): Detect Refresh Rate = OFF Refresh Rate = the correct refresh rate of your monitor -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92599 Title: Incorrect (low/stuttering) refresh rate with NVIDIA driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/92599/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 875835] Re: Emacs cannot be alt-tabbed into
I see similar behavior with Pidgin. The first reboot after installing Pidgin seems to fix this. I also have the problem that ghost emacs icons appear in the alt-tab window switcher, meaning there are emacs icons there that don't correspond to any emacs window and switching to them doesn't do anything.
