[Bug 846394] Re: Snowball not supported
Couple of observations: flash-kernel requires uboot-mkimage installed for most of it's targets but does not depend on it (only suggests). I'm not sure if that makes sense. But this is a generic issue. Another issue is that the flash-kernel.conf will contain the wrong partition when on eMMC. This is because Snowball eMMC images contain a special partition that the boot rom requires, and this shows up as mmcblock0p1 which is the default boot device for linaro-media-create. It should be changed to p2 which is the FAT partition with the boot scripts and kernel. Doing the above plus applying the patch to flash-kernel (2.28ubuntu34linaro2) makes kernel flashing work for snowball. So what we need is to study how to make l-m-c create a flash-kernel.conf with the correct boot partition, integrate this patch and somehow make sure that uboot-mkimage is installed by default on the images. Then we should be good to go with deploying kernel updates through apt-get install (kernel packaging contains a flash-image hook). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/846394 Title: Snowball not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/igloocommunity/+bug/846394/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 548866] Re: forgets middlemouse.contentLoadURL on upgrade or browser restart
Yes, if you read the full text of the changelog, it contains: * Prevent LP: #643899 - Firefox sending header "Accept-Language: chrome://global/locale/intl.properties" because the intl.accept_languages preference is messed up. Drop a patch which causes the preferences system to save a user preference when changing a preference value to equal the system default value (and revert to the original behaviour where the preference is just discarded). This should hopefully stop Firefox Sync from breaking localized preferences where they haven't been modified by the user, but does regress LP: #548866 which has been parsed as closing #548866. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/548866 Title: forgets middlemouse.contentLoadURL on upgrade or browser restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/548866/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
